Sectie Organische Chemie (SOC)
De Sectie Organische Chemie (SOC) bevordert de organische chemie en behartigt de belangen van organisch chemici in Nederland. Met circa 600 leden zijn we een van de grootste secties van de KNCV. Jaarlijks organiseren we twee bijeenkomsten (bij een universiteit en een bedrijf). In even jaren is er het Organische Chemie Symposium, in oneven jaren een programma met de sectie Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology (MCCB).
Evenementen van de SOC
Als lid van de SOC profiteer je van korting op onze eigen evenementen. Als je ook lid bent of wordt van de KNCV krijg je korting op alle lezingen, seminars en bijeenkomsten van (alle secties van) de KNCV.

Piter Jelles – De Dyck school team wins the Bèta Tournament at Firda in Leeuwarden
Merijn, Thirza and Irem from Piter Jelles – De Dyck secondary school have won the Science Tournament at Firda. During this national competition for fourth-year VMBO students, teams carry out practical tasks in a professional laboratory, combining biology, physics and chemistry. The edition at Firda was themed around ‘Paint’. To mark this and the extension of the partnership between organiser C3 and PPG, the winners received a colourful paint tin filled with treats.
