The Analytical Challenge 2018
Green Analytical Chemistry
In analytical chemistry, considerable attention has traditionally been paid to the accuracy, sensitivity, and speed of chemical analyses, but sustainability is a relatively recent area of focus. During the annual meeting “The Analytical Challenge,” representatives from the various working groups of the Analytical Chemistry Section will explore this theme in greater depth.
The TAC consists of lectures presented by various working groups of the SAC (and related associations) that focus on green analysis. This will give you a comprehensive overview of the challenges in analytical chemistry, from sample preparation to instrumental analysis, and how to approach these in a sustainable manner.
The day is aimed at all chemists with an interest in analysis: college students, lab technicians, or researchers. In addition to a substantively interesting and broad program, the TAC offers a place to meet new colleagues and chat outside the lab.
