Organic Chemistry Section (SOC)
The Organic Chemistry Section (SOC) promotes organic chemistry and represents the interests of organic chemists in the Netherlands. With approximately 600 members, we are one of the largest sections of the KNCV. We organize two meetings each year (one at a university and one at a company). In even-numbered years, we hold the Organic Chemistry Symposium; in odd-numbered years, we collaborate with the Medicinal Chemistry & Chemical Biology Section (MCCB) on a joint program.
SOC events
As a member of the SOC, you’ll receive a discount on our own events. If you’re also a member of the KNCV, you’ll receive a discount on all lectures, seminars, and meetings organized by the KNCV (and all its sections).
