About us
Our mission
The Organic Chemistry Section is one of the largest sections of the KNCV, with approximately 600 members. The section aims to promote knowledge of organic chemistry in the broadest sense and to represent the general interests of organic chemists in the Netherlands. It pursues this goal by organizing two regular section meetings each year: one hosted by a university and the other by a company.
In addition, the Organic Chemistry Symposium is organized in even-numbered years, while a program is presented in collaboration with the MCCB in odd-numbered years.
