About us
We are the leading association and community for all process technologists in the Netherlands. As an active section of both the KNCV and KIVI, we serve as the link between engineers, scientists, the technical industry, and educational institutions. We bring together professionals from the chemical and process industries to share knowledge and inspire one another.
Our mission & vision
Our mission is to foster knowledge development, innovation, and the practical application of process technology. We believe that process technologists play a key role in solving major societal challenges, such as the energy and materials transition and the realization of full circularity.
Under the motto 'Connect & Guide', we offer a powerful, trust-based network where professionals can expand their expertise and make the process industry future-proof.
To realize this mission, we focus on three pillars:
- Knowledge & Professional Development: We organize high-quality, in-depth (post-master's) courses and lectures to continuously strengthen the professional expertise of both young talent (EngD/PhD) and experienced engineers.
- Connection & Network: We connect process technologists through informal and formal gatherings, such as our spring meeting, the Dutch Process Technology Symposium (NPS), company visits, and networking drinks.
- Societal impact: We drive the discussion on the role of technology in society and support engineers in developing sustainable and viable industrial solutions.
