Prizes

Every two years, the Analytical Chemistry Section (SAC) awards the I.M. Kolthoff Prize to a researcher who has produced a high-quality dissertation in the field of analytical chemistry. The prize, which is funded by the KNCV Board and the SAC, consists of a certificate and a cash award of €2,000.

Each year, the Analytical Chemistry Section (SAC) awards the Van Deemter Prize for the best thesis (MSc or HBO BSc) with a clear analytical chemistry component. The prize, which is provided by the KNCV Board and the SAC, consists of a certificate and a cash award of €1,000.
