NextGenChem@NL is a national community that brings together the next generation of academic leaders in chemistry and chemical sciences across the Netherlands. The community aims to foster collaboration, exchange ideas, and strengthen connections among early-career principal investigators working at Dutch universities and research institutes.

The community provides a platform where emerging research leaders can share their scientific vision, present cutting-edge research, and build interdisciplinary collaborations. By connecting researchers across diverse areas of chemistry (including catalysis, materials science, chemical biology, sustainable chemistry, and process engineering) NextGenChem@NL promotes innovative thinking and collective progress in the chemical sciences.

Through its annual symposium and community activities, NextGenChem@NL encourages open discussion on scientific developments. The network also supports professional development and helps strengthen the national chemistry ecosystem by connecting academic researchers with industry, policy makers, and funding organizations.
